 Safety items to protect operators and service personnel from injury are

 included in the design and assembly of IBM machines.  This inspection

 guide identifies areas of the machine that should be checked.  Use good

 judgment to identify other safety conditions not covered by this

 inspection guide.

  

 These procedures are for use by IBM service representatives only.  If

 these procedures are used by persons other than IBM service

 representatives, IBM cannot verify that the machine has met all safety
