Top 6U of rack

To remove and install the top 6U portion of the rack:

Note

You must first remove the side panels from top 6U
(see “Top 6U side panels” on page 80) and doors
(see “Front and rear doors” on page 81) in order to
remove the top 6U of the Rack.

1. Install the support bars

.1/

in the front and the rear of

the rack, using two screws per support bar.

2. Remove the 16 screws (eight per side) that secure

the top 6U

in place.

3. Once the 9308 Rack is in the desired location,

reinstall the top 6U using all 16 of the screws that you
removed; then, add top side covers and remove the
support bars.
