Do not use the angle grinder as a fixed tool.
Do not use cutting
wheels for grinding or grinding wheels for cutting.
The work piece should be properly supported.
Support panels or
any oversized work to minimize the risk of wheel compressing and
kickback. Do not hold unsecured work in your hand.
Before using the tool on an actual work piece, let it run for a
while.
Watch for any vibration that could indicate poor installation
or a poorly balanced wheel.
Make sure the wheel is not contacting
the work piece before the switch is turned on.
Use the specified
surface of the wheel to perform the grinding.
Do not apply excessive pressure to the wheel
. Do not attempt
to make an excessive depth of cut. Overstressing the wheel
increases the possibility of kickback or wheel breakage.
Always use the dust guard
provided with the tool
. Never use
the tool without the safety guard installed. The guard helps to
protect the operator from broken wheel fragments, accidental
contact with wheel and sparks that could ignite clothing.
Positioning the cord should be clear off the wheel
. If you lose
control, the cord may be cut or snagged and your hand or arm may
be pulled into the rotating accessory.
Never lay the power tool down until the accessory has come to
a complete stop
. The wheel may grab the surface and pull the
power tool out of your control.
Do not touch the work piece immediately after operation
; it may
be extremely hot and could burn your skin. So, using gloves is
recommended while operating and handling.
When an extension cord is required you must ensure it has the
correct ampere rating for your power tool and that it is in a safe
electrical condition. Fully unwind the extension cords inorder to
avoid potential overheating and other hazards.
Do not use the tool if it has been damaged
, left outdoors in the
rain, wet or damp environments, or immersed in liquid.
Your tool should only be repaired by a qualified technician. This
tool is in accordance with the relevant safety requirements. Repairs
should only be carried out by qualified persons using original
spare parts, otherwise this may result in considerable danger to
the user.
