The supply water pressure
increases.

Air is removed from the
system.

The system fills with water.

The system waits for you to
turn on the cutting head.

The pressure increases.

The system waits for you to
turn off the cutting head.

The system waits for you to
examine the pump.

• The primary motor starts.

• If the system has a boost

pump, it turns on.

• The hydraulic pump

operates at minimum
pressure.

• The supply water

pressure increases until
the it gets to the target
water pressure.

The minimum setpoint
is 2.76 bar (40 psi).

• The intensifier begins

stroking.

• The bleed-down valve is

open.

• The bleed-down valve

closes.

• Water pressure in the

system increases
to 690 bar (10,000 psi).

Move the cutting head to
a safe location on the
table.

Turn

the cutting head.

Touch the

symbol to

continue.

The water pressure increases
in 690 bar (10,000 psi)
increments until the pump is
at 4,140 bar (60,000 psi).

Turn

OFF

the cutting

head.
