Locate the Support post bottom end cap, the (3) 1/4-in. X 3-in. hex head
bolts, nuts and 6 washers. The end cap will be used to set Solar Panel
South-facing orientation. (

5.5.4.
Set the Support post end cap down over the J-Bolt. Using a compass and
the
Magnetic Declination Calculator
determine True
North for your location. Rotate the end cap until sighting through the
open sides, the cap lines up on the True North/South line.

Once you are satisfied the end cap is properly lined up, tighten the nut on
the J-Bolt securing the end cap in place.
