Do not plug
Power Supply directly into an electrical outlet or extension cord.
ALSO
–
DO NOT SUBSTITUTE AN UNINTERRUPTABLE POWER SUPPLY (also known
as a UPS) FOR A SURGE PROTECTOR!!
A UPS can be used and installed in-
line after a Surge Protector is installed, but a Surge Protection Device
MUST BE USED.
5.2
ASSEMBLE TRANSDUCER
5.2.1
Locate Transducer Power Cable. Apply No-Ox contact grease to end
with 5 Pin Female Connector and attach it to 5-Pin Male Connect on
Transducer. Align and match key-notch plug and receptacle, push in,
and rotate outer ring until it is FIRMLY HAND TIGHT THREADED into
place. Contact grease prevents corrosion and protects plug from
moisture and dirt

5.2.2
Thread one D-Shackle through an end link of the chain and then
attach D-Shackle and chain to center mounting hole on top of
transducer. Attach second D-Shackle to center mounting hole on
bottom of Transducer

5.2.3
Create a strain relief by making a radial bend in power cable and
secure it to bottom holes of Transducer with cable ties. Clip off
excess cable tie straps with flush cut trimmers or scissors. As shown
in
Figure 5-3
5.2.4
Assemble Float and Flag as per instructions.

Attach
customer-supplied anchor to bottom D-Shackle.
5.2.5
The assembly of Quattro-DB® Transducer to Float is complete.
Coat the ends of the Transducer Power
Cable with No-Ox contact grease.
