FLOAT ASSEMBLY
5.3.1
Locate the components of the Float assembly. Refer to Figures 5-4 &
5-5 for assembly details
5.3.2
Set the Float Top Frame on the Foam Block and push the Float
Anchor Pin through both pieces until it bottoms out.
5.3.3
Flip the Block and Top Frame assembly over and slide the Float
Bottom Locker down over the Anchor Pin. Rotate the Bottom Locker
until the small hole on the side lines up with the hole in the Anchor
Pin.
5.3.4
Slip one of Zip Ties all the way through both pieces and pull it tight.
Clip off the excess Zip Tie end with side cutters or scissors.
5.3.5
Insert the Flag Staff into the Plug, align the holes, and thread a Zip
Tie thru the Pin, the Top Frame and the Flag Staff to tie everything
together. Tighten Zip Tie and snip off the excess.
5.3.6
Insert the two Retaining Pins through the Float Top Frame and into
the Foam Block to prevent wave action from rotating Top Frame
assembly.
5.3.7
Connect the chain to the bottom of the pin and use the screw and
nut to hold the chain in place.
