9 Operation
modes
9.1 SIO
mode
After start-up, the pressure switch is in SIO mode. SIO stands for standard I/O;
In this mode, Pin 4 (C/Q1) serves as a switching output.
9.2 SDCI
mode
A connected IO-Link master can switch the pressure sensor to the SDCI mode (Single-drop
digital communication interface) In this operation mode the master communicates with the
IO-Link sensor via pin 4 in order to change parameters or to read out measured values.
10 Parameterisation
For the commissioning of the sensor an electronic device description file is necessary, known
as "IODD" (IO Device Description)
For detailed information on IO-Link device parameters, factory defaults, process and
diagnostic data, supported standard system commands as well as additional HYDAC device
specific system commands for the various product versions (part numbers), please refer to
the corresponding IODD (IO Device Description).
