compatible master configuration tool (according IO specifications V1.1).

SSC = 0: OFF
SSC = 1: ON
- If "Low Active":
SSC = 0: ON
SSC = 1: OFF
Data retention (Subindex 2) is available for compatibility reasons and
should always be set to "false" in order to prevent from unexpected
behaviour when storing data between the master and the device.
