ENGINE OVERHAUL

VALVEs INstALLAtION

• The following procedure is applied to all the valves and their

components.

2. Lubricate:

• Valve stem "1"

• Valve stem seal "2"

(with recommended lubricant) (see fig. 42)

3. Install:

• Lower spring seat "1".

• Valve stem seal "2"

• Valve "3"

• Valve spring "4"

• Upper spring seat " 5 "

(in cylinder head) (see fig. 43)

• Make sure each valve is installed in its original position.

• Install the valve springs with the bigger pitch "a" facing up

wards. (see fig. 44)

Recommended lubricant

•

molybdenum disulphide oil

•

New
