Checking the frame

Changing the footrests

Info

Check the frame for cracks and deformation.

If the frame exhibits cracks or deformation due to a

mechanical impact:

Change the frame.

Info

Always replace a frame that has been
damaged due to a mechanical impact. Repair
of the frame is not authorized by Husqvarna

Motorcycles.

The procedures are the same on both footrests.

Condition

The frame protectors have been removed on the left and right.

Remove pin

and take off the washer.

Press the spring with special tool

Footrest spring plier (79029083000) (

p. 318)

✓ The special tool is applied to area

on the footrest.

Remove pin@).

Position the new footrest and pin.

Info

Only insert the pin to the extent that the spring can
still be mounted.
