Check the thrust surfaces of the clutch facing discs in clutch basket

If the thrust surface exhibits excessive wear:
:5 0.5 mm (:5 0.02 in)

Change the clutch facing discs and the clutch basket.

Check needle bearings 41) and collar bushing

If there is damage or wear:

Change the needle bearings and collar bushing.

Check clutch facing discs

for discoloration and scoring.
If there is discoloration or scoring:

Change all clutch facing discs.

Check the thickness of the clutch disc pack.
Clutch disc pack - thickness
Wear limit 2:: 26.4 mm (2:: 1.039 in)
If the clutch disc pack does not meet specifications:

Change the clutch disc pack.

Check intermediate clutch discs� for damage and wear.
If the intermediate clutch discs are not level and are pitted:
-
Change all intermediate clutch discs.

Preassemble the antihopping clutch. ( ISJJ p. 211)
