Changing the main fuse

Warning

Fire hazard

Incorrect fuses overload the electrical system.

Only use fuses with the required ampere value.

Do not bypass or repair fuses.

Info

The main fuse protects all power consumers of the vehicle. It is located in the starter relay housing
under the seat.

Preparatory work

Press and hold the kill switch � while the engine is idling until

the engine stops.

Remove the air filter box cover.

Pull starter relay

from the holder.

- Take off protection caps@.

Remove faulty main fuse

Info

A faulty fuse has a burned-out fuse wire 6).
A spare fuse

is located in the starter relay.

Insert a new main fuse.

Tip

Insert a spare fuse so that it is available if needed.

Mount the protection caps.
Mount the starter relay onto the holder and route the cable.
