4.6 Verifying the Installation

4.6.1 Verifying Device Installation

Scenario

Verify device installation in any of the following scenarios:

●

After device installation

●

During troubleshooting

Precautions

To avoid personal injury or device damage, ensure that the chassis is powered off

and the cabinet busbar is switched off before verification.

Procedure

Step 1 Check that the chassis is properly installed and does not shift and that screws are

tightened.

Step 2 Check that all server nodes are properly installed, and their ejector levers are

lowered.

Step 3 Check that all PSUs are properly installed, and their handles are latched.

Step 4 Check that the hard disks are properly installed, and their ejector levers are

lowered.

Step 5 Check that the Hyper Management Module (HMM) is properly installed.
