Before performing

, ensure that the DC switch is OFF.

Insert the positive and negative connectors into the corresponding positive and negative DC
input terminals of the SUN2000 until they snap into place, as shown in
Figure 5-21
.

Installing DC input power cables
After the positive and negative connectors are in position, the clearance between the DC
terminals and connectors should be less than or equal to 0.8 mm (0.03 in.) and the DC
input power cables cannot be pulled out.
If the DC input power cable is reversely connected and the DC switch is ON, do not turn
off the DC switch immediately. Otherwise, the SUN2000 may be damaged. The damage
caused by reverse connection of the DC input power cable is beyond the warranty scope.
Wait until the PV string voltage reduces to the safe range. Then, turn off the DC switch,
remove the positive and negative connectors, and rectify the connection.

Follow-up Procedure
To remove the positive and negative connectors from the SUN2000, insert a removal wrench
into the notch and press the wrench with an appropriate force, as shown in
Figure 5-22
.
Before removing the positive and negative connectors, ensure that the
