Procedure

Step 1

Check whether the power supply to the heat detector is abnormal.

In normal conditions, use a multimeter to measure the common terminal (base terminal 1) and
the signal terminal (base terminal 3) and check whether the voltage is about 24 V.

Y => Go to

Step 2

N => Regulate the voltage to a normal value.

Check whether the fault is rectified.



If yes, no further action is required.



If no, go to

Step 2

Y=> Replace the heat detector.

Check whether the fault is rectified.



If yes, no further action is required.



Check the cable connection of the sensor base.
