Security Settings
Setting Phone Lock
This function prevents unauthorized use of the phone after the phone is stolen
or the UIM card is changed. This function is not activated upon purchase. You
can change the default phone lock code "000000" into any code of four to eight
digits.
If the Phone Lock function is activated, your phone displays the message

when powered on. To use the phone, you need to enter the correct
phone lock code and then press

.
Make sure to remember the code. If you do forget, take your phone to your
local phone dealer.

Select one of the following options:

On

Off
: Activate/Deactivate the phone lock.

Change code
: Enter a new phone lock code. After you enter the new phone
lock code, the phone requests you to enter again to confirm the new code.
