Writing and Sending a Message to One or More

Write the message. For details, see "Text Entry" on page 12.
Note:
While writing the message, you can press
Options
to select Insert
phrase to insert frequently used phrases. For details, see "Setting
Frequently Used Phrases" on page 20. Select Insert phone number to
insert the phone number of a contact in the phone book.

, the message is saved to the outbox after being sent.

Enter the recipient’s phone number. You can also press

to select a phone number from the phone book.

to send the message.
After a message is sent, if
Message sent
is displayed on the screen, it indicates
that the short message is sent to the short message service center (SMSC)
successfully. However, it does not necessarily mean that the recipient has
received your message. If
Send failed
is displayed on the screen, it indicates that
the short message is not sent to the SMSC successfully. You need to send this
message again.
Writing and Sending a Message to a Predifined Group
The short message can be sent to a group of contacts. The group can be selected
individually either from phone book or by typing the phone number. The group
can also be one or more groups defined in the message settings. It should be
noted that message groups are different from the groups defined in the phone
