The WBBP has the following functions:

Provides the CPRI interface for communication between the BBU and the RRU or RFU,
and supports the CPRI interface in 1+1 backup mode.

Processes uplink and downlink baseband signals.

The WBBPd supports interference cancellation (IC) within the board.

When installed in slot 2 or slot 3, the WBBPd supports the IC function of uplink data.
