Replacing a processor

Prerequisites

Before you perform this procedure:

•

Review the temperature requirements for processor installation

.

• Make sure that you have the following items available:

◦ T-15 Torx screwdriver

◦ Alcohol swab

Procedure

1.

Install the processor:

a.

Align the processor with the alignment keys on the processor socket, and then install the processor.
