Prerequisites
Before you perform this procedure, make sure that you have a T-10 Torx screwdriver available.
Procedure
1. Power down the server on page 23.
2. Disconnect all peripheral cables from the server.
3. Remove the server on page 24.
4. Remove the expansion cage .
5. Remove the rear expansion cage cover .
6. Remove the PCI air baffle.
7. If installed, remove the expansion board .
8. Remove the rear PCIe riser board:
a. Remove the screws securing the riser board to the expansion cage.
b. Remove the riser board from the expansion board.
