Drive support information

The different chassis models support the following hot-plug drive types:

• Low profile LFF SATA or SAS drives

• SFF SATA or SAS drives (using the Smart Carrier

• NVMe SSDs (using the Smart Carrier NVMe)

The embedded HPE Smart Array S100i SR Gen10 Controller supports SATA drive installation. For SAS support, install a
Smart Array Gen10 type-p controller option.
