FCoE fabric topologies
FCoE technology allows you to converge Ethernet and Fibre Channel technology at the server, providing
significant cable, adapter, and switch consolidation. All HP-supported Fibre Channel topologies are
supported integrated with FCoE at the Fibre Channel fabric edge (
Figure 10 ). This provides the benefit
of investment protection by allowing the use of existing Fibre Channel products and infrastructure in
an FCoE configuration (
Figure 10 and Figure 11 ).
