IOPn.MtcMon status: The memory sizes of the CEs do not match.
CE1 memory size = y kilobytes.
CE2 memory size = z kilobytes.
Variables
y – the size (in kilobytes) of memory in CE1
z – the size (in kilobytes) of memory in CE2
Severity
Warning
Description
The amount of physical memory on the two CEs is different. If the CE with the larger amount
of memory is booted first, the CE with the smaller memory size is not allowed to synchronize.
Hardware/Software
This message is generated as a result of a CE hardware configuration error.
Action
When convenient, shut down the CE with the smaller amount of memory, and install additional
memory.
IOPn.MtcMon status: The MIC Transport driver (MtcMICX) has not yet registered with the Monitor.
Severity
Warning
Description
When the Endurance server initializes, the Monitor waits for all transport drivers to register
before allowing the IOP to begin operations. This event indicates that the MIC transport driver
(MtcMICX.sys) has not successfully loaded and registered with the Monitor within the IOP
startup interval (two minutes). The local IOP cannot join the Endurance configuration until the
MIC driver registers with the Monitor.

.MtcMon status: The Endurance config info supplied by the MIC driver
is not compatible with the local IOP Endurance type. MIC Driver Endurance
config info = x. Local IOP Endurance type = y.
Hardware/Software
This message can be generated as a result of a hardware failure that prevents the MIC transport
driver from loading, or as a result of a software configuration error.
Action
•
Verify that all cables are correctly connected.
•
Examine the event log for related events that provide details about why the MIC transport
driver did not load. Correct the condition, as required.
•
If no related events are logged, examine the software configuration to determine why the
MIC transport driver is not being loaded. Reconfigure the software on the IOP if
necessary.
•
If the problem persists, contact your service provider for assistance.
