NAS 4000s and 9000s Administration Guide

Deleting a Share

Caution:

Before deleting a share, warn all users to exit that share. Then confirm that no one

is using the share.

To delete a share:

1. From the Shares menu, select the share to be deleted, and then click Delete.

2. Verify that this is the correct share, and then click OK.

Modifying Share Properties

To change share settings:

1. From the Shares menu, select the share to modify and then click Properties. The General

tab of the Share Properties dialog box is displayed.

The name and path of the selected share is displayed.

2. To enter or change client protocol information, check the UNIX (NFS) client type box and

then click the UNIX Sharing tab.
