20. When the enclosure has completed its power on sequence, check all enclosure status LEDs
to ensure the enclosure is operating properly.
Removing and replacing the enclosure backplane
The operation is performed after HPE Support determines that the enclosure backplane is the
source of the issue and recommends the backplane be replaced
IMPORTANT:
After replacement and power up, it is necessary to re-write warranty serial
numbers into BIOS. Contact HPE Support for more information.
CAUTION:
Before removing the enclosure, power down the HPE StoreOnce 5100 System as
described in
(page 30)
.

Disconnect all cables from the enclosure, including the power cables.
2.
Label all the disk drives before removing them to ensure they are reinstalled in the proper
enclosure bays.

Remove the power supplies See

Remove the I/O module. See

Pull the hood latch up and back (1 and 2), and lift the enclosure cover up and remove it (3).
