Documents are rejected
from an FTP site. Various causes. 1 From the command line, use the
FTP command to log in and
make sure that the FTP site is
operating.
2 Make sure that the user ID and
password are correct in the FTP
configuration.
Note
Note that “Anonymous” is a user ID
and its login requires a user ID and
password string. The FTP server will
not verify these values, but the values
are required.
3 If FTP Host Names are not
correctly resolved: On the
HP DSS Workflow server, use
the FTP command from the
command line to log in to the
FTP site. If the system cannot
resolve the FTP Host Name,
then use the IP address.
4 On the HP DSS Workflow
server, use the FTP command
from the command line to log in
to the FTP site and attempt to
create folders and subfolders. If
the access level is limited to the
root folder only, then contact the
administrator to create access
rights.
The files are not stored
in the destination folder.
The HP DSS Workflow
server log shows the
following message:
‘Error Copying the File.’
Various causes. Check for the following conditions:
● Make sure that the folder path for
the Output Directory has a
forward slash mark (\) character at
the end of the path name (for
example, C:\documents\).
●
Make sure that the Output
Directory folder path does not
include any special characters,
(for example, <, >, ~, %, !, \, ?,
*, .).
● Add a forward slash mark (\) to
the end of the Output Directory
path name.
