General tab
Use the General tab on the HP LaserJet 4100mfp and 9000mfp to
create the following form attributes:

Form check box. Select the check box to activate the form fields.
If this check box is clear, then an Action button that does not
correspond to a field is added. Use that Action button to create a
single-step scanning operation, such as Send-To-Printer, where
the user might not need to specify any field values.

Form name. This names the form that appears as a button name
in the MFP function-key hierarchy.
●
Scanning mode. This describes the supported scanning mode.
●
File format. This describes the supported file format.
●
Action-button name. This is the button name that appears as
the last key on the form. Use a descriptive action name such as
“Scan” or “Scan to” to indicate what procedure the Action button
activates.
●
Multiscan. Select this value to prompt the user after each scan
job for additional pages to be scanned. This is a useful option
when the documents are not contiguous, or when documents
require the use of both the automatic document feeder (ADF) and
the flatbed scanner.

create the following form attributes:

Button name. This is the function key name that appears on the
control panel.
●
Scanning mode. This describes the supported scanning mode.
●
File format. This describes the supported file format.
