Using the License tab to manage licenses
Use the License tab to update, transfer, and extend the
HP DSS Workflow licenses.
Updating or adding HP DSS Workflow device
licenses
The following three methods are available to activate
HP DSS Workflow devices:

Web licensing. To activate licenses using the Web, the
HP DSS Workflow server must have complete Internet access.
●
Generating license information. License information can be
used for Internet licensing from another computer.
●
Contacting HP support. Contact HP support (see the Support
Flyer that is updated on a regular basis for more information) if no
access to the Internet or to e-mail is available.
Note
Corporate firewalls can interfere with Internet licensing.
Update or add licenses by using Web licensing
1 Open the DSS Workflow Configuration Utility and click the
License tab.
2 Click Web License.
3 Type all of the required information on the Web License form
and click Submit. An activated license file will be sent by e-mail.
4 Save the received license file to the server’s hard disk.
5 On the License tab in the DSS Workflow Configuration Utility,
click Load.
6 Open the activated license file that was saved in step 4.
Update or add licenses from a different computer
1 Open the DSS Workflow Configuration Utility and click the
License tab.
2 Under License File, click Generate.
3 Save the license information as a .txt file.
