9. Release the ExpressCard slot bezel

by pressing in on it, and then remove the bezel

10. Lift the rear edge

of the top cover until it detaches from the base enclosure.

11. Remove the top cover

by lifting it straight up.

Reverse this procedure to install the top cover.
