Front bezel

The front bezel is secured to the access panel by tabs.

Before removing the front bezel, follow these steps:

1.

Prepare the computer for disassembly (

Preparation for disassembly on page 16

).

2.

Remove the access panel (

Access panel on page 17

).

3.

Remove the optical drive (

Optical drive on page 17

).

4.

Remove the drive cage (

Drive cage on page 19

).

Remove the front bezel:

1.

From the rear panel of the computer, disconnect the power button board cable (1) from the system board.

2.

Disengage the front bezel tabs (2) from the top edge of the computer chassis.

3.

Swing the top edge of the front bezel (3) down and away from the computer chassis.

4.

Release the power button board cable through the opening (4) in the computer chassis.

5.

Remove the front bezel (5).

To install the front bezel, reverse the removal procedure.
