Slide the system board (2) toward the front of the computer through the opening in the front of the 
chassis.

6.

Lift the rear edge of the system board (3) until it rests at an angle, and then slide the system board out of 
the computer chassis at an angle.

To install the system board, reverse the removal procedures.

NOTE:

When replacing the system board, you must change the chassis serial number in the BIOS.

When replacing the system board, you must reprogram the SMBIOS information on the affected computer. 
Failure to reprogram the board will result in eventual failure, such as an activation failure (need to reactivate the 
system) or a system recovery failure.
