M.2 SSD SATA cable and optical drive extension power cable

Installing one M.2 SSD and one optical drive
For more information about the integrated storage controller and its features, select the relevant user
documentation on the
Hewlett Packard Enterprise website .
Procedure
1. If installed, remove the security bezel .
2. Power down the server .
3. If you are performing a non-hot-plug procedure, remove all power:
a. Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
b. Disconnect each power cord from the server.
4. Do one of the following:
• Extend the server from the rack .
• Remove the server from the rack .
5. Remove the access panel .
6. Remove the optical drive blank.
7. Install the optical drive and secure it with the screw provided in the optical drive kit.
