Component test (Auto)
It is possible to test each component individually or let the machine test them for you. To
get the machine to test them you first have to set the programme up like this. The first
part of this set up will test the controls
1.
Select Super Rinse & Rinse Hold, keep them pressed in and turn the dial to D.
After about 5 seconds the Super Rinse, Rinse Hold & Pre-wash lights should all
start flashing. Release the buttons.
2.
Select Start and hold it until all the lights come on. Release the button.
3.
If you now press any option button it should switch its light off, press it again and
it will come back on. This indicates they are working properly.
4.
Turn Dial back to ‘A’
Anti-clockwise
.
5.
To test if the selector can read each programme, turn the dial slowly through all
positions until you get to Slow Spin at that point the End light should go out.
6.
Turn selector back to ‘A’
Anti-clockwise
, and set variable spin to off.
7.
Turn spin control through all speed settings, and at Max spin the Door Locked
light should go out, this lets you know the spin control is OK.
The second part of the set up will test the individual components.
Set dial to A and variable spin control to max, then touch the start button.
The lights will all go out and the test programme will start.
First the door locked light will come on (The door must be closed) Then each
component is tested in turn, starting with:
1.
Hot fill (Red Valve)for a count of 6
2.
Rinse/pre-wash fill (Grey Valve) for a count of 6
3.
Cold wash fill (Blue Valve) for a count of 6
4.
Hot and Cold fill (Red & Blue Valves) to pressure switch level.
5.
Super Rinse
lights (confirming pressure switch operation)
6.
Power on to heater and agitate until temperature rises.
7.
Super Rinse
goes out and
Rinse Hold
comes on (confirming heater/thermistor
OK)
8.
Drum stops and heater turns off, pump comes on until pressure switch resets.
9.
Super Rinse
and
Rinse Hold
lights come on when pressure switch has reset.
10.
Static pump out for about 20 seconds
11.
Drum turns slowly for about 20 seconds
12.
Drum turns faster for about 20 seconds
13.
Drum turns full speed for about 20 seconds
14.
Super Rinse, Rinse Hold, Door Locked
&
End
light to signify the test has
ended.
If a fault was detected the
End
light will be flashing. The following list gives a
breakdown of possible faults and what to look for.
