Tiger 5 - 8 MT - swinging drawbar
hitching
1. Fully lift out the machine via packer and
drawbar.
2. Fold and secure the support.
3. Close the lock valve for the levelling discs
and the TopRing Packer (option).
4. Set the 3-way valve to Road .
5. Remove the aluminium clips on the packer
cylinders and lower the machine via centre
packer and tractor link arm.
6. Enough aluminium clips must be put on the
cylinders to prevent the lateral wings from
contacting the ground and to ensure uniform
weight distribution between packer and tine
field or support.
7. Keep operating the control unit to retract the
side packers.
8. Watch out for collisions of the side packers;
insert aluminium clips on the cylinders of the
side packers, if necessary.
9. Apply the parking brake and secure the ma-
chine against rolling away.
10.Switch the packer lifting/lowering control unit to
the floating position.
11.Lift the drawbar via the drawbar lifting/lowering
control unit to be able to unhitch the machine
from the tractor.
12.Close the lock valve on the cylinder of the
drawbar.
13.Depressurise the hydraulics.
14.Disconnect the hydraulic lines.
15.Disconnect brake lines.
16.Disconnect the lighting connections.

Dropping or lowering machine parts can cause
severe crushing injuries etc.!

Instruct persons to leave the danger zone.

Comply with the accident prevention instruc-
tions.
CAUTION
Damages to the machine and the supporting
surface

Fold the machine only on a level and firm
surface.
Unfolding
Tiger 4 MT tractor link arm

1. Fully raise the machine via packer and trac-
tor link arm.
2. Lift the DiscSystem separately via the tractor
control unit.
3. Turn the lighting carriers to the field work
position.
4. Set the 3-way valve to Field .
5. The machine may lower at this.
6. Lift the machine once more completely.
7. The side packers extend.
8. Unfold the machine completely.
9. Let the tractor with the machine slightly roll
forward if the packer tyres of the lateral wings
touch the floor. This avoids twisting on the
packer.
