Tiger 5 - 8 MT - swinging drawbar
hitching
NOTE
The Tiger 8 MT with swinging drawbar hitching
must only be operated with drawbar eye and
swinging drawbar Cat. 5.
1. Move the tractor to the machine and set the
brake.
2. Connect the hydraulic lines for drawbar lifting/
lowering and packer lifting/lowering .
3. Open the lock valve on the cylinder of the
drawbar.
4. Switch the packer lifting/lowering control unit to
the floating position.
5. Adjust the height of the drawbar with the
drawbar lifting/lowering control unit.
6. Hitch the machine to the tractor.
7. Connect the hydraulic lines for
wings and tools
8. Connect the brake lines.
9. Connect the lighting system.
10.Releasing the parking brake (option).
Transport position
WARNING
Danger of road accidents caused by losing the
machine or machine parts.

Check all interlocks before starting to drive.
¾
Check whether all securing elements of the
connection are in place and set correctly.
¾
Check components of the connection for wear.
¾
Lock the control units mechanically or electri-
cally, depending on the version, during trans-
port travel. Never switch them to the floating
position.

In regard to the ball and socket coupling follow
the notes in the Maintenance overview chapter.
NOTE
¾
Make sure before driving on public roads that
the machine meets all respective applicable
road traffic regulations.
Tiger 3 and 4 MT rigid
1. Fully raise the machine via packer and trac-
tor link arm.
2. Lift the DiscSystem separately via the tractor
control unit.
3. Fold and secure the support.
4. Close the lock valve for the levelling discs
and the TopRing Packer (option).
5. Insert the aluminium clips on the packer
cylinders and lower the machine to the alu-
minium clips.
6. Insert enough clips to achieve adequate
ground clearance.
7. Note at the same time that the permissible
transport height is not exceeded.
8. Lock and secure the control units.
