Levelling discs
Levelling discs are installed behind the tines to
prevent ridge formation with all operating condi-
tions, working depths and travel speeds.
The discs distribute the thrown up soil and level
the ground in front of the packer.
Levelling discs
The working depth and position of the outer
discs must be adjusted in the field, see chapter
Depth setting .
It depends on the soil conditions, amount and
type of harvest residues, working depth of the
tines and the working speed.
Packer
The machine is equipped with Double-RollPack
packer.
In use the machine always travels on the packer.
Due to the weight of the machine a high con-
solidation and a fine crumbly, level surface is
achieved.
Double-RollPack Packer
With cohesive soils the packers may pick up soil
and thus become considerably heavier.
This can cause overloads and damage to com-
ponents, or may dirty roads during transportation.
NOTE

Remove any picked up soil after field work or
before road travel from the packer.
