The fluted discs are available in 0.21in” and 0.61in” sizes for different discharge rates.
When seeding is in progress, only the fluted discs rotate in the roller. The spacers are inhibited by limit
stops on the housing.
When installing or removing the rollers, the limit stops must be turned so that they are in line with the
slots in the housing.
Assembly Instructions
So that seeds cannot force their way between the fluted discs and the spacers, the fluted discs and
spacers are installed free of play using shim washers.
Bearings are incorporated in the spacers.
Depending on the manufacturing tolerance, shim washers are inserted to prevent friction between the
fluted discs and the spacers. See picture below for reference.
