PPF System
With the fertiliser equipment solid fertiliser can
be placed together with the seed.
The fertiliser is placed by single disc coulters
into the soil between DiscSystem and packer.
The coulter discs open the soil. The fertiliser is
placed via the pneumatic system.

The fertiliser discs are arranged between two
coulters.

The pin serves as stop of the hydraulic cylinder.
The working depth of the PPF coulter is set via
the pin.
The sticker shows the position of the pin and the
associated working depth of the coulter.

Make the same setting on each hole pattern.
The fertiliser coulters are always raised when
the machine is lifted out.
¾
When lowering, hold the hydraulic pressure
until all fertiliser coulters are completely in
the soil.
¾
Now switch the control unit to floating position.
Adjusting the volume flow rate
The air flow from the fan is divided at the seed
hose.
Because of quantity and weight differences of
the media to be placed it may be necessary to
divide the air flow from the fan differently.

Follow the fan speed table to this end.

Set the correct division of the air flow in the
field under seed placement conditions.
The air flows must be adjusted so that the
hoses do not become blocked and seed or
fertiliser cannot be blown off from the placing
area.
NOTE
¾
Check the fertiliser placement at the start of
work and then regularly during working.
