Aggressiveness of bout markers

Bout marker disc setting

Adjust the aggressiveness of the bout markers

according to the soil conditions.

Loosen the hexagon screws (A) for this

purpose, adjust the bout marker disc and

retighten the hexagon screws (A).

Check the working pattern of the bout marker

in the field and correct if required.

Mount the bout marker weights on heavy soil

to ensure positive penetration of the discs

into the soil.

Bout marker weight

The optional depth limiter can be attached on

very light soils. This prevents the disk from

sinking in.

Setting the bout markers

WARNING

Risk of injury from the bout marker.

Order persons to leave the slewing range of

the bout markers.

When installing for the first time, the bout mark

ers must be set to working width. Marking takes

place in relation to the centre of the tractor.

The adjustment length of the bout markers

(I, measured from the middle of the outermost

row) results from half the working width (b)

plus half the row distance.
