REGISTRATION
Before programming the W8710A Equipment Monitoring
System, you must register online at http://
customer.honeywell.com or call 1-800-318-0815. You are
required to register only once as a Honeywell dealer. See
Registration section for details. Use the serial number
(VB_ _ _ _ ) on the back of your handheld programmer, when
registering.
To register, you must have a 32005322-001 Handheld
Programmer. If you do not have one, purchase one because it
is required to install the W8710A Equipment Monitor.
1.
Log on to http://customer.honeywell.com.
2.
Select Register.
3.
Select W8710A user registration link.
4.
Enter the serial no. (VB_ _ _ _) from the back of the
Handheld Programmer into the space provided on the
Web site. Press Submit.
5.
Enter your company information into the registration
form. Press Submit.
6.
You will receive your contractor code. Use the contrac-
tor code to program the W8710A as described in Con-
figuring Your System section.
7.
You will immediately receive an email with your login
and password.
INSTALLATION
When Installing this Product…
1.
Read these instructions carefully. Failure to follow these
instructions can damage the product or cause a hazard-
ous condition.

Check the ratings given in the instructions and on the
product to make sure the product is suitable for your
application.
3.
Installer must be a trained, experienced service techni-
cian.
4.
After completing installation, use these instructions to
check out the product operation.

Can cause electrical shock or equipment damage.
Disconnect power before beginning installation.
Selecting Mounting Location
Locate the W8710A in the equipment room near the HVAC
equipment and where access to the main telephone line is
available. Locate the W8710A where the sensors can be
connected using the supplied 7-ft. and 15-ft cables. The
W8710 can be mounted on the wall or the return air duct. See
Fig 1.
