• Assemble the fan by following the last three steps in the ASSEMBLY
INSTRUCTIONS.
DISPOSAL
This appliance complies with EU legislation 2012/19/EU on
end of life recycling. Products showing the ‘Crossed Through’
wheeled bin symbol on either the rating label, gift box or
instructions must be recycled separately from household
waste at the end of their useful life.
Please DO NOT dispose of appliance in normal household waste. Your
local appliance retailer may operate a ‘take-back’ scheme when you
are ready to purchase a replacement product, alternatively contact
your local government authority for further help and advice on
where to take your appliance for recycling.
CONDITION OF PURCHASE
As condition of purchase the purchaser assumes responsibility for
the correct use and care of this Kaz product according to these user
instructions. The purchaser or user must himself or herself decide
when and for how long this Kaz product is in use.

C. ASSEMBLING THE UPPER PORTION OF THE FAN
• Place the Motor assembly (9) onto the Metal pole extension (5)
and tighten the locking screw (7) (Fig. 4).
• Remove Rear grille locking nut (13) by turning counter
clockwise and set aside (Fig. 5).
• Place rear grille (12) on Motor assembly (9) making sure the
2 pins on motor assembly protrude through the grille’s
openings (Fig. 6).
• Replace Rear grille locking nut (13) and turn clockwise to
tighten (Fig. 6).
• Slide Fan blade (14) over motor shaft making sure small slots
on rear of Fan blade are aligned with the small pins on the
shaft (Fig. 7).
• Place Blade locking nut (15) on shaft and turn COUNTER
CLOCKWISE to tighten (Fig. 7).
• Raise the 5 front grille locking clips.
• Align Front Grille (16) with Rear grille (Fig. 8).
• Close locking clips to secure Front and Rear grilles (Fig. 9).
REMOTE CONTROL BATTERY INSTALLATION/
REPLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS

• Remove battery door by sliding downward in direction of arrow
(Fig. 9).
• Insert 2 AAA batteries into the remote following the directional
guides in the recessed slots. Batteries are included.
• Replace battery door by sliding upward opposite of arrow direction
until door snaps in place.
NOTE: DO NOT MIX OLD AND NEW BATTERIES. DO NOT MIX ALKALINE,
STANDARD (CARBON-ZINC) OR RECHARGEABLE (NICKEL-CADMIUM)
BATTERIES.

OPERATION

ON/OFF
To turn fan on, press the Power button ( ) (I) located at the
bottom of the control panel.
SPEED CONTROL
To adjust the speed up or down, press the Fan speed button ( )
(II) repeatedly to increase level.
TIMER
Choose from 1, 2, 4, or 8 hour settings by performing the
following function:
• 1 hour:
Press the Timer button ( ) (III) once.
• 2 hours:
Press the Timer button twice.
• 4 hours:
Press the Timer button a third time.
• 8 hours:
Press the Timer button a fourth time.
Press the Timer button a fifth time to turn the Timer feature off.
OSCILLATION
• Oscillation knob is located on the top panel of the Motor
assembly behind the Carrying handle.
• To START fan oscillation, push the Oscillation Knob DOWN (8).
• To STOP fan oscillation, pull the Oscillation Knob UP (8).
REMOTE CONTROL OPERATION

ON/OFF
Press the Power button ( ) (IV) once to turn the fan on. Press
the Power button a second time to turn the fan off.
SPEED CONTROL
To adjust the speed up or down, press the Fan Speed button ( )
(V) repeatedly to increase level.
TIMER
Choose from 1, 2, 4, or 8 hour settings by performing the
following function:
• 1 hour: Press the Timer button ( ) (VI) once.
• 2 hours: Press the Timer button twice.
• 4 hours: Press the Timer button a third time.
• 8 hours: Press the Timer button a fourth time.
Press the Timer button a fifth time to turn the Timer feature off.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
• Unplug the fan from the electricity supply.
• Only use a soft cloth to gently wipe the fan clean.
• DO NOT immerse the fan in water and never allow water to drip into
the motor housing.
• DO NOT use petrol, paint thinner or other chemicals to clean the fan.
• For storage, clean the fan carefully as instructed and store your fan
in a cool dry place.
REMOVAL OF THE FRONT GRILLE FOR CLEANING
• Ensure the fan is switched off from the main supply mains before
removing the guard.
• Remove the Front grille by releasing the grille clips.
• Unscrew the Blade mounting nut by turning it CLOCKWISE (REVERSE
THREAD).
• Pull the Fan blade away from the Motor housing.
• Gently wipe the Fan blade and grilles with a soft, damp cloth.
