Configuration
The DVR will not log or notify of motion events that occur during this preset interval
range.
Note The record action for motion events will not be affected by the
Motion Ignoring function.
Assigning the Daytime Range
Because you can set different configurations for Daytime and Nighttime, you need to
assign a Daytime range. The DVR uses a 24-hour clock.
1. Highlight the box beside
Daytime Setup and press . The Daytime Setup
screen appears.

2. Use the Up and Down arrow buttons to set the Daytime range. The DVR will
consider the remaining time range as the Nighttime.
Configuring the Actions for Motion Detection
The DVR can be set to react to motion detection differently for each camera. Each
camera can:
•
Be associated with another camera
• Trigger an Alarm-Out connector
• Sound the DVR's internal buzzer
• Notify a number of different devices
• And/or move PTZ cameras to preset positions
Note You can associate multiple cameras with a camera that detects
motion.
1. Highlight the Actions tab in the Motion Detection setup screen, and the Motion
Detection Actions setup screen appears.
