Disconnect the test lead (T01) from the fan.

(a)

Attach the fan on the test bench (T02).

(b)

Connect the fan to the test lead (T01).

(c)

Supply the fan under 28 VDC.

(d)

On the test lead (T01), set the power switch to the ON position and the speed selection
switch to the high speed position.

(e)

Measure the noise with a noisemeter at 1 meter from the fan inlet side.

(f)

Check the noise level of the fan in stable state. Record the value.

(g)

Make sure that the sound pressure level value is less than or equal to 93 dBA.

(h)

Remove the fan from the test bench (T02).

(i)

Disconnect the test lead (T01) from the fan.
