Operational Test at Low Speed
(Ref. Fig. 1005)
(a)
Install the fan on the AMCA aeraulic test bench:
– Ambient temperature: +15 °C to +40 °C
– Pressure: Altitude of the point below 1000 ft
– Hygrometry: Relative hygrometry below 95 %.
(b)
Connect the fan to the test lead (T01).
(c)
Supply the fan under 28 VDC.
(d)
On the test lead (T01), set the power switch to the ON position and the speed selection
switch to the low speed position.
(e)
Check the aeraulic performance curve for
ρ
= 1,2 kg/m

. Record the value.
(f)
Make sure that the pressure value is more than 800 Pa at 120 l/s.
(g)
Check the input current of the fan in stable state. Record the value.
(h)
Make sure that the input current value is less than or equal to 28 A.
(i)
Remove the fan from the AMCA aeraulic test bench.
(j)
Disconnect the test lead (T01) from the fan.

Install the fan on the AMCA aeraulic test bench:
– Ambient temperature: +15 °C to +40 °C
– Pressure: Altitude of the point below 1000 ft

Connect the fan to the test lead (T01).
(c)
Supply the fan under 28 VDC.
(d)
