Fix the skid with the auger held at a position above 20 mm from the
ground.
For HS2411Z models; fix the scraper at a position above 15 mm from
the ground.
For HS1810Z models; fix the scraper at the lowest limit of the skid.
When the auger contacts the road surface
When operating on a gravelly road
Factory pre-set clearance:
At the scraper:
At the auger:
10 15 mm (0.4 0.6 in)
15 20 mm (0.6 0.8 in)
With the auger raised up 10 mm from the road surface, fix the skid and
scraper touching the road surface.
Lift the skid and scraper to the upper limit and fix them there.
When cleaning hard snow that has fallen from a roof
When the snowblower does not cut into and rides up on hard
lingering snow
(HS2411Z models only) When you want to clean up remaining snow
left over after clearing
