Operating the snowblower without warming up the transmission
causes damage to the HST (hydrostatic transmission).

CHOKE KNOB

While warming the engine up, also warm up the transmission as
follows.

After starting the engine, check that the engine speed is stabilized
and release the choke knob back slowly. Move the throttle control
lever to the ‘‘SLOW’’ position gradually and warm up the engine to
the normal operating temperature. Also check the engine oil and
charging indicator (red) go OFF after engine starts.

Check that the shift lever is in the ‘‘NEUTRAL’’ position.
