PRE-OPERATION CHECK
To prevent accidental start-up, remove the engine switch key, and
disconnect the spark plug cap before performing the pre-operation
check.

Check the snowblower on level ground with the engine stopped.
Turn the engine switch to the ‘‘ON’’ position, and check the fuel gauge.
Refill the fuel tank if the gauge shows that fuel level is low.
Open the fuel filler lid by pulling up the knob.
Remove the fuel filler cap and fill the tank with the recommended
gasoline up to the upper level. Do not fill beyond the upper level.
Tighten the fuel filler cap securely.
Close the fuel filler lid.
Use unleaded gasoline with a Research Octane Number of 91 or
higher (a Pump Octane Number of 86 or higher).
Never use stale or contaminated gasoline or an oil/gasoline mixture.
Avoid getting dirt or water in the fuel tank.
