INSTALLATION

BREATHER PIPE

CLIP

STAY

JOINT

GASKET

COLLAR

SEAT RUBBERS

MUFFLER

JOINT NUTS

MUFFLER

EXHAUST PIPE

GASKET

BAND BOLTS

MOUNTING BOLT

WASHERS

Install the new joint gasket and muffler gasket.

LEFT ENGINE SIDE COVER

COLLARS

Install the muffler and exhaust pipe in the reverse

order of removal by loosely tightening all fasteners.

BOLT

Tighten the joint nuts first, then tighten the mount-

ing bolt and band bolts.

Set the breather pipe onto the stay and install the

clip.

TORQUE:

Muffler band bolt: 23 N·m (2·3 kgf·m, 17 lbf·ft)

After installation, inspect the exhaust system for

leaks.

SOCKET BOLTS

Install the left engine cover and collars by tightening

the bolt and socket bolts.
