[2005-2008] [TRX500 FA/FGA]

LUBRICATION SYSTEM

Remove the four bolts and the oil cooler from the

BOLTS

radiator.

OIL COOLER

INSTALLATION

Install the oil cooler onto the radiator and tighten

BOLTS

the four bolts securely.

OIL COOLER

Coat new O-rings with engine oil and install them

onto the oil cooler pipe joints.

O-RING

Install the pipe joints onto the oil cooler.

Install the removed parts in the reverse order of

removal.

· Check the oil level and add the recommended

engine oil if the level is low

(page 3-12).

OIL STRAINER

CLEANING

FOR FEED PUMP:

Remove the front mud guard

(page 2-8)

and inner

CONNECTOR

BOLTS

fender

(page 2-9).

Disconnect the engine oil temperature (EOT) sensor

connector and remove the EOT sensor.

Remove the bolts and oil pipes from the oil tank.
